In an exclusive interview with bestonlinepokersites.ltd, Arsenal hero Emmanuel Petit urged Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko to join the Gunners ahead of Chelsea if he has the opportunity to leave RB Leipzig this summer…

  • Sesko advised to pick Arsenal over Chelsea in transfer window
  • Arteta HAS to sign new Gunners contract this summer
  • Arsenal should sell Vieira, Nketiah and Smith Rowe

Sesko Should Join Arsenal – Gunners Have a Proper Philosophy

Arsenal are on the hunt for a goalscorer and Benjamin Sesko fits the bill. The 6 foot 5 inch target man has been linked with London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea but Emmanuel Petit is adamant that he should choose the Gunners;

Emmanuel Petit: “Definitely Arsenal. Why? Because of the way they’ve been playing and the way the spine of the team has been playing together for the last four or five years. They have improved so much individually and collectively. They have a proper philosophy of playing and a better environment as well. So while it’s a new era at Chelsea, the stability is with the Gunners. So if I was Sesko I would join Arsenal rather than Chelsea.”

Arteta Signing New Contract Would be Bigger Than Any Transfer

Rumours of Mikel Arteta putting pen to paper on a new contract at the Emirates have been circulating and Petit believes the Spaniard extending his reign is more important than bring in new players to the squad;

EP:Yes [it would be bigger]. He’s the pinnacle. Arteta and his staff are the architects of what has happened at Arsenal for the last five years. If you change the manager you change everything. Is Arteta willing to stay at Arsenal? For how long? He was linked with Barcelona but they have a new manager. I hope Arsenal will sign a new deal with Arteta. He has to stay at the club. For me, the story between Arsenal and Arteta is not finished yet. There’s a long way to go.

Arsenal Should Cash in on Vieira, Nketiah and Smith Rowe

With the Gunners looking to raise funds for incoming transfers Petit was asked whether they should cash in on some of their homegrown players and Fabio Vieira, who was signed for £34m in the summer of 2022;

Fabio Vieira – Keep or sell?

EP: “Sell. He has quality, but not for the Premier League. For me, probably I think it’s too hard for him. He’s not Fabregas. Remember Fabregas when he had the same problem, but he had that himself. He plays quicker, he was very intelligent with his head. But, I don’t see that with Vieira.”

Emile Smith Rowe – Keep or sell?

EP: “Very hard one because I like him. I know what he can bring on the pitch, but I’m thinking what’s going on with him physically? I was not convinced this season. I think I would say sell. It’s a pity to say that, but I would say sell.”

Eddie Nketiah – Keep or sell?

EP: “Sell. He knew he was playing under such pressure. He knows that the club has been looking for a proper striker for years now, and he knows that Kai Havertz is not a proper striker, but he was playing and he was on the bench. So it’s not a surprise for him.”
