In an exclusive interview with bestonlinepokersites.ltd, Paddy Pimblett opened up on life as a new father ahead of UFC 304, Conor McGregor and a potential bout in the boxing ring with Jake Paul…

  • Pimblett fires back at Conor McGregor for saying UFC 304 isn’t worthy of PPV status
  • Welcoming twin girls has given me something I need to fight for
  • Jake Paul has gained my respect, let’s get in the ring together!

Conor McGregor Is Mad, 304 Is The Best UFC Card In UK History

Pimblett hit back at Conor McGregor’s suggestion that the UFC 304 card wasn’t worthy of pay-per-view status by stating it’s the best fight line-up ever seen in the United Kingdom;

Paddy Pimblett: “To be honest, that’s a mad shout from Conor. I think it’s the best card that the UFC have put on in the UK ever. You’ve got a welterweight title fight, rematch, Leon Edwards vs Belal Muhammad.  People want to see that rematch because Belal’s been on a win streak lately. Obviously the Tom Aspinall vs Curtis Blaydes rematch, the first time they fought Tom’s knee exploded in like 20 seconds. Everyone wants to see that fight again. Me vs Bobby Green. That could be a main event of the Fight Night card. Arnold Allen vs Giga Chikadze is going to be a great fight as well, so I don’t know what he’s on about there. That’s a mad one, and I really like Conor – but if anyone ever put his name on a contract and sent it to me, I’d be like, cha-ching! You never know. We’ll see what happens. I’ll be negotiating after this fight. One of these f*****g stupid influencers might get on and want to have me a boxing match for a couple of million. And I’ll be in!”

I’ve Got Something I Need To Fight For Against Bobby Green

After welcoming twin baby girls to the world in April, Pimblett opened up on his new perspective towards the fight game since becoming a father;

Paddy Pimblett: “This fight camp hasn’t been easy, especially at home, but the Mrs is like superwoman. She’s looked after everything when it comes to the kids. It’s been a very tough fight camp outside of the gym. I think becoming a dad has changed my perspective, I’ll be honest. I haven’t noticed a difference, but everyone around me has said it. My coaches, Molly (McCann), my wife, my family. A lot of people have noticed a difference in me. I’ve got something to fight for now, something I need to fight for. I need to do this for my kids and my wife. This is the first fight they’ve been alive for, so I’ve got to do it for them. It’s as simple as that. I’ve got the next generation to think of. I’ve got to put food on the table for my kids.”

Jake Paul Has Gained My Respect, If He Wants To Fight Me Let’s Do It!

Pimblett revealed he has gained respect for Jake Paul following the announcement of his bout with Mike Perry and suggested the pair could even go face-to-face in the ring together;

Paddy Pimblett: “Give Jake Paul his dues for that one. I didn’t think he’d fight someone like Mike Perry. He’s fought a load of f*****g clowns. Anderson Silva and Tyron Woodley when they were both over 40, Anderson’s a Thai boxer and Woodley’s a wrestler – but Mike Perry is a boxer, he’s a striker, he’s got hands, so I’ll be honest, Jake Paul has gained a little bit of respect from me. If Jake Paul sends a contract over for a couple of million dollars and wants to fight me, let’s do it. We’re prize fighters at the end of the day. That’s what people forget. We do this to get paid. It’s all about money.”
