‘Joke’ 4am Fight Time Gives Bobby Green Huge Advantage

Much has been made of the late start times at UFC 304 which cater to the US audience and Paddy Pimblett made his feelings clear on the upcoming PPV’s scheduling;

Paddy Pimblett: “I’ll be fighting at about 4am. It’s f**king ridiculous. In America the main card starts at like eight o’clock, so I’d normally fight at about nine or ten. It’s an advantage for the American fighters. It’s an advantage for Bobby Green, Belal Mohamed and Curtis Blaydes because obviously they’re coming over on their time. It’s not like they’re going to be jet lagged. They’re going to just do the same but we’ve got to f*ck about with time frames and s**t. It’s ridiculous. It really annoys me because the UK fans stay up every week to watch cards. It’s not even like they [American UFC fans] have to put a shift in because they’re eight hours behind. They can just take the day off work and base up like that while the sun’s out, have a f**king barbecue. Instead, we’ve gotta sit up till f*cking 4, 5, 6 in the morning is, it’s a f**king joke.”

People Compared Me To ‘Piece Of S**t‘ Scammer Khamzat 

Khamzat Chimaev has only had one fight since September 2022 and allegedly resorted to crypto-scamming his fans to keep the money rolling in. Paddy was displeased at having heard that he has been compared to the Russian middleweight;

PP: “Oh yeah, he’s a piece of s**t. I met Khamzat in person and he was very nice. But the stuff that I’ve read that he’s done there is wrong. You can’t be doing that to your fans. That’s crazy. If he actually has done that where he’s made a fake coin and scammed so much money out of people, and then just pulled the rug under it and deleted all his posts about on social media. But people have got receipts, people have got screenshots so you can’t escape that. It’s wrong. I mean actually it’s funny, someone actually compared Khamzat to me the other day, like f**king hell Khamzat fell off like Paddy The Baddy, sort of like that!”

I Want Renato Moicano Next, Then Gamrot And Poirier

Paddy has won each of his five UFC fights and with his contract up for renegotiation after his clash with Bobby Green, he revealed who he is eyeing up as his future opponents;

PP: “Well after this I want Renato Moicano. Me and Moicano have had a little back and forth. People love to mention my name. They know that they’ll get some followers off it. Beneil Dariush maybe even him after my next fight. Then someone in the top four or five like (Mateusz) Gamrot or (Dustin) Poirier. I think a lot of people would like to see me fight Gamrot because he’s also one of the high level grapplers. I think a lot of people would like to see me fight him, I think that’d be a good fight to be honest. You never know, I could end up getting a little niggle or something like that, because my shoulders are still not fully recovered from the last fight. So this is my last fight on my contract. It’ll be renegotiation time after this fight. It’s an exciting time to be here.”
