Paddy Pimblett: “I want the Spanish to win it. England only won against the Netherlands because they had 12 men. I wanted Virgil van Dijk to score the winner and f*****g scream in Pickford’s face! The first 45 minutes was the best England have played, but that Spanish team – they’re just next level. They beat Italy, they beat Croatia, they beat Germany, they beat France. England beat Switzerland on penalties, the Netherlands with 12 men, Slovakia in extra time. Serbia is the only game that they’ve actually won apart from the semi-final. That was never a penalty. Gary Neville was on the telly saying that’s not a penalty. If English pundits are saying that’s not a penalty, then it’s not a penalty.”
Why Would I Stand Arm In Arm With Anti-Scouse England Fans?
Pimblett revealed he does not support the national team due to the nature of England supporters’ anti-Scouse chanting;
Paddy Pimblett: “England fans sing, ‘we all hate scousers, we all hate scousers’ – so why would I stand arm in arm with all these people? When you see all the flags that the England fans bring to tournaments, there’s never a Liverpool one. It’s all teams from League One and League Two – Barnet, Gillingham, Oldham, because they never get to go to a good stadium like that. That’s why they support the national team. All the players that play for England, I hate them all year round, so why would I cheer them on? They’ve only got Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool and he doesn’t even get a game when he’s one of the best players in the squad.”

Pimblett aimed fire at England manager Gareth Southgate on his team selection before predicting a perfect belated birthday present for Spanish starlet Lamine Yamal;
Paddy Pimblett: “He (Gareth Southgate) is playing f*****g Kieran Trippier lad! I can’t wait for Lamine Yamal to tear him a new a***hole. He’s turning 17 on Saturday. What a birthday present he’s going to have on Sunday, winner’s medal and player of the tournament!”
